Structure
The frame that carries everything else
Framing, engineered beams, load-bearing walls, foundations: we build and rebuild structures designed to last.
What is at stake
Why it is demanding
A poorly designed or poorly built structure compromises everything that follows — cost, schedule, safety. It is precision work, done from an engineer's plans, not a step to rush.
What we do
- Wood framing and timber structure
- Roof trusses and engineered beams
- Opening and replacing load-bearing walls
- Reinforcing and rebuilding existing structures
- Foundations and house lifting
The method
Our approach
- 01A critical read of the plans with the structural engineer before any lumber is ordered
- 02Materials chosen for the real loads and the Quebec climate
- 03Careful erection: alignment, connections and shoring all checked
- 04Coordination with the trades that follow, so the envelope closes quickly
Working closely with your professionals. Engineers, Architects, Technologists: we build from their plans and validate constructability with them.
Frequently asked questions
Do you work from my engineer's plans?
Yes. We build from your structural engineer's plans and specifications and flag any inconsistency before erection. If you do not have an engineer yet, we can recommend one.
Can you open a load-bearing wall in an occupied house?
Yes. The work is planned with an engineer: temporary shoring, a properly sized beam, and supports carried down to the foundation. The house stays safe at every step.
Do you do both residential and commercial?
Yes — residential structures and small commercial buildings, depending on the scope of the project.
